Meshbox Design Announces Christmas Village 2011

Beaverton, OR. Meshbox Design, a division of Proactive International, LLC announces the release of Christmas Village 2011, the newest set of Christmas holiday themed licensed 3d models in the Meshbox Christmas Village series with compatibility with Toon Santa(tm), the animated 3D character also from Meshbox Design.

Toon Santa is the lovable 3D Santa Claus created in love and respect for holiday traditions. Toon Santa was originally designed in 2002 and updated annually to capture the pure and simple joy of that early holiday programming. Toon Santa plays a role in support of NORAD TRACKS SANTA, the NORAD website devoted to tracking Santa Claus, with Meshbox Design as corporate contributor to the multinational project located at http://www.noradsanta.org. This licensed character has also made appearances in advertisements for Air Canada and on the New York Stock Exchange.

Each model is available in several versions. The Professional license includes the 3D Studio MAX .max source file, that can be used to generate and export real time playback versions of the models, for games, simulations and the like. Less expensive versions with 2D only rendering useage allowed are available for Mirye Software Shade 3D 12+, Smith Micro Poser 7 or higher / DAZ Studio 4 or higher, e-on software Vue 6 or higher, Bryce version 5.5 or higher. Each model can be licensed individually, or in a cost saving set which includes all seven publicly released models plus a bonus eighth model, North Pole Cathedral.

Christmas Village 2011, like the previous annual releases, adds new buildings to the North Pole Village 3d models that have been licensed by artists, animators and digital production houses since 2006. The 2011 release parallels the Toon Santa annual theme - Father Christmas. Therefore all buildings have some thematic or design element based on traditional British interpretations of Christmas.

This release includes the following:

• Cracker Factory and Shop. A Christmas themed factory and retail shop for holiday crackers or 'bon-bon's - British style Christmas day poppers.
• Nutcracker Factory and Shop. A Christmas themed factory and retail shop for nutcrackers, with partially painted nutcrackers in the factory and finished ones on a loading dock.
• St. George’s Cakes and Puddings. A Christmas themed shop and kitchen for selling British style Christmas cakes and holiday puddings.
• Ye Olde Inn. A British style inn featuring holiday decorations, Christmas tree, hanging stockings and rooms for let.
• Lamplighter's House. The home of an important North Pole resident - the lamplighter and his apprentices! A comfortable home decorated for the holidays.
• Pig's Whiskers Pub. A British style pub, decorated for the holidays with Christmas tree, two fireplaces, central bar and more.
• Chimney Sweep's House. The home of another important resident - the chimney sweep and his apprentices. A comfortable home decorated for the holidays.
• North Pole Cathedral. This model is only available with the combined Christmas Village 2011 Complete Edition. This is a British style 3d cathedral in Christmas colors, with complete furnishings inside and out.
