Who is Toon Santa?
If you grew up in the 70's in North America, you probably spent some quality hours in December watching the Rankin/Bass stop motion classics such as Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudoph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and a Year without a Santa Claus. Stories were simple and as lovable as the iconic The Night Before Christmas story.
Toon Santa is a 3d character with a simple, lovable design.
Toon Santa was created in house at Meshbox Design in 2002, and then released for public licensing in 2003 as a character that works with the Smith Micro 3d software Poser.
From 2003 through 2005, Toon Santa received modest updates and improvements, acquiring additional props and refinements. Here follows the releases in order from the most recent release of Toon Santa.

In 2010, Meshbox Design released Toon Santa with a new variation character, Steampunk Santa.
Christmas Village 10 includes seven base models or all original 3d buildings, plus a bonus eighth model that is included with the Christmas Village 2010 Complete Edition.

In 2009, Meshbox Design released Toon Santa with a new variation character, Ice Mountain Santa.
Christmas Village 9 includes seven base models or all original 3d buildings, plus a bonus eighth model that is included with the Christmas Village 2009 Complete Edition.

In 2008, Meshbox Design released Toon Santa with the new variation character, Train Conductor Santa.
Christmas Village 8 includes seven base models or all original 3d buildings, plus a bonus eighth model that is included with the Christmas Village 2008 Complete Edition.

In 2007, Meshbox Design released Toon Santa with a new variation character, King of the North Pole Santa.
Christmas Village 7 includes seven base models or all original 3d buildings, plus a bonus eighth model that is included with the Christmas Village 2007 Complete Edition.

In 2006, Meshbox Design revised Toon Santa into Toon Santa Classic, and also released the first of an annual release of Christmas Village models - Christmas Village 6.
